Nice, some amazing angles the aircraft were flying at!

Nice photos but if you don't mind me saying, your shutter speed is too fast and a bit of prop blur would add something to them.

hehe
Very good overall; the only thing that detracts IMHO is the frozen propellors/rotors which kills the sense of movement.

Yeah, I shot with a very high shutter speed intentionally . . . it's a matter of taste I think ;-)

The Vulcan was there, not the most interesting thing to photograph but a great achievement by all those that got it back into the sky ;-)

Nice aerial shots Fergus smile I miss my 400 L - think a 100-400 is going to have to be purchased some time if I want to keep doing shows. Thanks to Nick for lending me his 28-210 Tokina though.

Still processing stuff, but here's some of the static (read: "rotting" frown) XM597.

These were all taken with a 300mm lens with the camera in DX crop mode, which I think gives an effective 450mm . . . at 6Mpix . . .

Yeah, the static Vulcan at EF is in a sorry state . . . I was having a good look at it at the weekend . . . shame . . .

I'm not really an airshow person, I always miss Leuchars as I'm usually out of the country at that time, and I wouldn't travel far to see one I don't think . . .

Was a shame there were no fast jets at EF . . . I like the noise of a huge afterburner engine ;-) . . . but I guess they have more important things to do.

Not overly happy with my photos tbh, but then I'm well out of practice and I was really only there to see (and hear biggrin) the Vulcan.
