Spoilt at the zoo - Tiger heavy
Discussion
I haven't been out with the camera for a while and as we were heading to a local zoo yesterday I dusted my kit down and set off for the afternoon.
We went to Banham, which for a small zoo has an amazing conservation program and variety of animals. The highlight for me are the two Siberian tiger cubs that were born last October and having watched them grow up they are now at the age where they are really causing mischief. They didn't fail me yesterday and put on an amazing show in the water, along with mum and dad.
An old one showing how cute they start out, this was the day after they were put out on public display.

One of the viewing areas

Come on dad, it's play time..

Starting to push his luck

Why I oughta.....

Love you really,

Mum freaking the children out,

On the prowl,

Enjoying it's kill after a long chase..

Top one is a winner for me - it just needs a bit more oomph, maybe saturation or curves.
The one where it's leaping at you is interesting - at first I thought you'd have to be some way back with a long lens, but the perspective says wide-angle, ie close. It must have leaping almost at he glass!

Great shots any news from Banham about the possibility of Snow leopord cubs? I know the pair they had in the new enclosure where enjoying a little lovin when we went in early June.

You've had more luck than i've ever had with the snow leopards, whenever we've been there they refuse to come out, let alone do anything interesting;)
