I am sure I am not the only one wishing I had skills such as yours.
I also appreciate the styles which photographers "hone".
But I am dying to know how you post process your shots. They all carry a certain gloomyness (not sure if thats the correct word) about them. Across the board.
Is there any chance you could explain how you post process your images?
Thanks
Scott

Thanks very much! Basically I stay away from hdr, now anyway. I use lightroom mostly which is a fantastic tool and has some decent pre-sets. I then play about with all sorts of settings. I use elements also and sometimes add grain to them.
I take alot of my influences from American photo magazine and take all my advice from here.
I'm still pretty new to this game, as I only hot my first slr last february.
I also spend alot of time finding new locations. I'm not a purist but I do want my photos to stand on their own, with the processing just giving them an edge

dont mean to hijack this thread but since had a look at some of Johns work and was very impressed also.
I note you are north of the border John - where abouts are you located?
Would also be interested to hear what other members use post processing wise??
having just splashed out on the camera and all the goodies, Photoshop is well out of my reach at the moment, surely there must be some good freebies out there.
Im not sure the package that will come with my camera will be up to much (its a Sony Alpha b.t.w)
Woza.
