This is quite helpful - i'll have a proper read through when i'm more awake though.

I'm currently having problems printing out some wedding photo's that I took a couple of weeks ago (which i've posted up as a thread in here).

What does the Spyder 3 do?

I'm not at all technical so simplicity would be good lol

It plugs into a USB socket (like everything else) and sites in the centre of the monitor whilst a short (3-4 minute) program runs. It sees a range of coloured boxes on the screen and measures the colour. The software compares the colour seen to the colour sent and creats a file that corrects for the errors in brightness, contrast and colour. This runs everytime the PC starts so colours seen are accurate.

Simples!
