I'm in Leeds this weekend, staying in Brighouse. Is there a decent camera shop either in Leeds city centre or on the way? Last time I was there I couldn't find one!

Any suggestions?

Depends what you are after....

Dale Photographic in the Merrion Centre (on the 1st floor balcony) hold a good range of used and some Medium Format + good range of bags and tripods. Old family business. Have a web site with their stock. Open Sat AM but not PM.

The Flash Centre (near Costco so a 15 min walk from the centre) is co-sited with CC Imaging. Lots and lots of nice toys, and very very knowledgeable staff. Mostly pro and serious amateur stuff, but very good advice. Also are a Canon Pro centre and so rent out teh full range of lenses if you ever want to play with some really expensive stuff. I definitely didn't spend time in there yesterday and didn't buy a new tripod ;-)
CC Imaging do a great printing service.

Aside from that, Jessops or there is a place up near The Grand theatre that seems to stock a mixed range of bits and pieces.

First floor, Merrion Centre - on the balcony. Can be a little hard to find; fairly anonymous looking shop.
