That watermark is awful. I can't see the pictures through it! There's no need to worry about people stealing your pictures at facebook quality, what are they going to do with them, make a really small keyring?

Another tip, if you want decent C+C just put a few of the best shots up you feel could reflect your portfolio, I got bored half way through the 82 of the R8!

Look forward to seeing your edited pics.

Well what I do is reduce them in size (bigger then facebook compression) then watermark them and have them on separate page on my website for the customers to view. So instead of redoing it for FB without the WM I just use the WM ones for easyness.

I know there's alot of them but thats for the customer to pick out the best ones they liked but as described above I just uploaded the lot for ease. once it hits the website I will cut down the albums and replace it with my smaller watermark.

Cheers smile.

Damian,

If you're not already, start using a polariser for your photos. Also, you need to work on your composition. I mainly looked at the Audi set, but there is nothing that stands out about them.. There are things that you could've done, such as used lighting, pp + more. A lot of them could've used a bit more contast in the car..

Tend to agree with the constructive words above.

To add to the comments about composition, might also be worth scouting/ building a resource of some decent locations to avoid the 'just over there'll do' look smile

I know, Need to pick one up. Trying to save some money to get a decent one. Didnt think the one I got off ebay for £10 last time did the best of jobs!

How do you mean by that? What is off about my composition? Yeah Im working on that in Pshop atm. Was waiting for the ones he liked to be picked out then edit them. A few of them are more lively now.

What I mean about the comp is that it looks as if you have just walked around the car from the same distance, snapping away.

Of the R8 there is just one shot where you have turned the front wheels. All the rest are straight.

If it were me, I would get the car set up how I want, wonder round the car a few times, checking the details, then take the photos. It looks as if you have just got the owner to park in the road, then you have just snapped away.

There is nothing hugely wrong, but there is nothing about the photos that makes you think "wow, what a great car/photographer"

Hard to put into words really - if you want, just give me a ring tomorrow (number on my site) and we can have a general chat (you probably can teach me a thing or two aswell!)

George
