Well the theory was the 1.45 crop was the largest (or smallest) crop they could get away with before the EF-S lenses started to vignette, but looking at all the latest releases it seems to be a 1.6 crop with a "breakthrough in design" to allow for excellent noise (I'll wait for independent reviews to confirm this i think!)

Still, a semi decent AF, 8fps and remote speedlight control
