Help Finding Car Photos

All,

Hoping this is the correct place to post, so many choices these days!

I'm in need of some assistance tracking down some photos of cars. I need to get hold of a photo of (an example of) each car I've owned, however some of them I never took pictures of and Google images/Trader/PH classifieds aren't throwing up exactly what I need. I wonder whether PH can help, or point me in the right direction?

I need (and they're not glam cars!)

1) Vauxhall Nova - chocolate brown or Jamaica yellow. Circa 1984-5, completely standard on the steel wheels (1.2l). 3 door.
2) VW Polo - in white. Again, base spec, the 'mini estate' shape. One I had was a 1.0 on a B plate, so around that time. Again, totally standard
3)VW Golf VR6 - 5 door in silver with original BBS alloys. Mine was a 1995 and was unmodified.

Mods, please move if inappropriately posted. Any help I could get would be most appreciated, they're to be the pictures on tables at a wedding so are kinda important to me.

Just to be a killjoy, you will also I assume need to find ones which come with a grant of copyright usage for the web or wherever you want to display them.

I don't think copyright is an issue, due to them being used for personal use (and no commercial gain)?

OP, have you tried http://www.flickr.com ?

Copyright applies here as anywhere else, but since in this case (a) the owner of the image is likely to be a hobbyist (b) the job is tiny, I wouldn't envisage a problem getting permission.

Thanks for the replies - oobster that Nova was just what I was looking for, thank you!!

I was hoping that the images would be non-professional, and therefore (as not being used for commercial gain) would be ok to use? I will check though, thanks for the tip.

4hero, I've not tried flickr, nor had the thought occurred to me - I'll go and do that now!

The 3 images I posted were from flickr. I tried looking for the other colour of Nova and the Golf but I couldn't find anything.

Note the differing reg. plates on the Nova too!
