Hi guys, I've found a couple of old 35mm film rolls in among my late Dad's photos. They will have had photos taken by him, and a long time ago at that. My Dad died when I was 11 years old, I'm 48 now !

Is there any, even the slightest chance that I would get something from them, or are they lost forever ? They are still in the little containers, if that makes a difference.

I was swithering about taking them to Jessop's or whatever, but thought I'd ask here first ;-)

Wouldn't take them to Jessops. Try someone that knows what they're doing and tell them the age of the film!

You might get something but not much...

Just to check - have they been used? If not there will be a film tongue sticking out.

I found an old film when clearing out my house. It must have been nearly 10 years old, I had no idea what was on the roll and the waiting for them to come back from the developers was torture!
Ended up with some pics of a MK2 VW Golf GTI I used to own and a few daft ones of my mates! They were all over exposed which I assume was down to the age but still pretty good. Good luck with yours!
