"All the gear, no idea"
Discussion
Finally got the 300D and now I have the photographers equivalent of 'writers block'! It has been raining all day so I'm limited to chasing the cats around the house hoping for something interesting to happen.

:sigh: I have so much to learn, I can't help feeling that if this camera was a car, I'm currently at the stalling and setting of in first gear stage.

Right, back to RTFM

I know what you mean, winter sucks, but it's amazing what you can find indoors...

Happy Birthday Jo!!!

What pics have you taken so far?

Suggestions....some a bit sad, maybe not:

1. Slow flash (or auto night portrait) - on a running tap.
2. A lit candle (with the lights off)
3. Reflections from shiny objects.
4. Photo of a background through a glass tumbler to see the distortion effects.

LB - gets ready for a few "you really sad git" comments

Not sad Steve, look for updates to www.final-design.com shortly.* I have a couple of shots from the garden last summer with candles/flares some including the moon too.
Well I like them.
*shortly may mean a few days or longer.**
**Or shorter.
