Why not take it out on the road and let him photograph you driving past....or have I missed something?

That my dry joke!! yes basics would be to plonk my brother at side
of road and drive past, the roundabout picture is a great idea
looks cool! thats the kind of idea I was after.

The sitting in the back of the car at low speed ive seen before
this is very affective for creating the speed affect, unfortunately
theres only me and my brother.

Also Ime concerned about logistics of doing it on public roads

thanks for comments guys any more appreciated thumbup

You can get anyone with a car to drive you, a friend shot a number of pictures of me hanging out the side window of a Corsa on the A1M hehe

We were doing about 60mph. Example shot:

Whats also handy is if your cousin has a BMW Z4 like mine does.

Well, I have some photos (one is my new avatar) but the fun was taking them…. I roped my brother in and he took a few shots out of the back of the camera car kindly driven by my wife. Then he got in my car and we went on our merry way for the next shoot (leaving my wife to go and do the school run). I found a large (Mx) roundabout and he chose his location (back to the sun) Anyway as he is taking action pictures of me going around and around the rozzers pull up with blues and two’s flashing and because my brother is laid across the pavement (low shot) they accuse him of looking like a sniper (true trust me) and explain a motor way is a sensitive area sir, we were moved on..

It's not new - a chap using a device like this to photograph Queen Victoria was promptly jumped on by the ancestors of todays' Plod:

Had your chum REALLY been a sniper, you can be sure rather a lot more kerpuffle would have made of it (closed carriageway in both directions, 10 police cars, 5 helicopters and 84 reporters) so they obviously knew he WASN'T a sniper, which rather makes it all silly. Like the security guard who hid (ie moved) my bag and said 'Well it might have been a bomb'...
