Think this is the closest forum...

If not I'll wait for the topic to bounce from here, to the lounge, to Computers gadgets etc... biggrin

I've been slowly discovering my creative side over the past few months and getting into photomanipulation with Photoshop and a bit of digital art creation.

I'm trying to find a decent, free (being the important word) source of tutorials. Some things I'm good at, others I havent a clue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are endless PS tutorials out there in the wilds of the net however the vast majority are a little bit.. erm... crap!

Well I've bitten the bullet and am paying for a subscription to Scott Kelby's website

I reckon over a period like a year it will be worthwhile and not much more than shelling out on loads of books and magazines.

Not free, but definitely not crap either!

Here are a load of half decent sites.
The trick is to find the type of tutorials that appeal to you, and also for the type of things you want to do with photoshop.
there are so many types of uses like photography, compositing, logos, 3d,etc.
