Right, as some of you know, I was trackside for this meeting! It was FANTASTIC. I loved every minute. I took 1600 pictures. Got it down to 450-ish hehe The weather was horrendous. All four seasons in one day. Got wet, warm and windswept! Excuse the watermark. With being trackside it has to be done. Tried to make it as subtle as possible.

Right then, the pictures:

1. This is straight out of the camera! No enchanment to the eyes. The light was awesome in the moring.

2. Ferrari pushing on in the dry

3. Gotta love the old cars!

4. Round Cascades

5. Ferrari over Clay Hill

6. Where was I again?

7. GO! GO! GO!

8. Soggy Italien

9. Scenic

10. This shot took me AGES to get right.

11. Had to be done!

Sorry mate, watermark completely kills them for me, just means I don't want to look at them.

great shots. don't blame you for the watermark. doesn't distract too much imo for internet viewing. would be nice to see them without though.

Not a fan of the watermark either, why is it there? As for the shots, they all seem a little underexposed, maybe it's just my monitor at work. Nice sharp shots though.

Why's that then? (Genuinely interested.)

I gave you a genuine, honest, comment? Or are we to lie?

I dont want you to lie but it is not hard to look through the watermark. It was more for _dobbo_.

As for the reason why, it is MSV. Something to do with the fact that I was them for them and to show them in public, they need a watermark as they dont want anyone else getting the images they (MSV) may use (except for publications like Autosport)

Sorry Matt, just telling you what I thought - I hate watermarks, they ruin the photos completely.

I never look at any photos that are covered in watermarks, I'll just close the thread and move on. Perhaps my loss, but there you go.

Didn't mean to cause offense - clearly my original post would have been best left unsaid (or untyped).

I hope they paid you very well to be putting those sort of restrictions on your shots.

All nice and sharp - number 3 is my favourite.
10 would have been better if some idiot amateur wasn't stood in the way, but I guess you pros need have to make allowances for that from time to time tongue out
11 shows how close the Mustang and Aston were in the last scratch race - highlight of the day for me.
Good to see you again BTW

Matt, they look good shots maybe the classic Oulton archway could have been thrown in shot a little more (need to be higher for that?) but I agree with the watermark. Some I dont mind having watermarks but yours is heavy and it does spoil the viewing pleasure.
