Hi,

not sure if this should be on this forum or computer one but you guys seem to know what you are doing...

Can anyone make the sofa in the image below white or off white? If you can can you post the result and more importantly tell me how you did it! I have been trying to use the colour replacement brush in photoshop elements and while it does some colours fine I cannot do a white or black sofa. Im after something like the ones pictured on www.sofa.com Any help or advice extremely appreciated.

Thanks

Layer/New Adjustment Layer, Hue/Saturation. With Master selected, hue +2, saturation -50, lightness +63. I then selected Reds, hue +129, lightness +100.

Go back to the sofa layer, then Image/Adjustment/Levels, 0 1.00 105 wink

Now you need to add a few wine stains and grime to make it looked lived in!

out of interest do you think sofa.com used white sofas to take photos of or have they changed the colour on a computer somehow?
