Had a little drive up Fort William way the other day and stopped off at the Commando memorial at Spean Bridge. It was a strange day for taking pictures as the light was terrible and everything I took appears either very dull or slightly out of focus!

Anyway, I paticulary like this shot of the memorial although it could do with a lot better PP, this is pretty much straight out of the camera.

Not sure I like the rotation on the shot and what you've done with the verticals.

But with some tweaks to the orientation to fix, and some "moodiness" added to the sky in photoshop and you could have a good pic.

I agree that it definately needs more moodiness added, with the quick PP that I tried I just could not get the colours to come out right at all frown

WRT to the orientation I actually quite like it, especially with the poppies at the bottom, as I only had my 17mm lens on I couldn't get both the poppies and monument in shot. One ting I would change if I could is the sharpness of the shot but way way too late for that now!
