Small camera with reasonable HD video
Discussion
Rather than get a basic "flip" style pocket video camera or a cheap traditional sized SD camcorder is there a small compact digital camera that can do reasonable HD video and sound that would match or better my two options so far: Creative Vado HD or Panasonic SDR-S26
I'm not after serious video quality, just casual family clips without carrying around another camera.
I'd rather the stills camera be the primary purpose, with the video a seconday feature
budget is £150
Thanks

I can't give any useful examples, but just browse t'web for cameras with HD (720p being more likely) video.
I've had a Kodak Z1285 for what seems like ages - 12mp stills, 1280x720 video, 5x optical zoom. Its not a bad camera all round, stills are good, video is okay (blighted by motor noise when zooming), but ultimately ruined by lousy battery life.
Its worth checking on the zoom though - I know that quite a few digicams don't allow zoom whilst recording video.

if you can up your budget abit the Sony Cybershot H20 can be had for around £190 and you can use the 10x zoom while recording.
