HD camcorders??

[Daston]

Hi guys,

My Finecee and me have decided to get a camcorder in the Jan sales. I would like something that will shoot in HD and be good for car meets and motorsport. She would like something that she can video the cats, kids (when they appear) and the wedding.

Sadly neither of us have a clue what to look at. Our budget seems to be around the £300 - £350 mark.

I was thinking something like these

or

any ideas on what to look for? I take it a slower shutter speed would be good for motor sport and car related stuff?

If you can go strech another £30 then i can highly recomend this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-HDC-TM10-Definit...
Great bit of kit and the playback on a HD TV is amazing, and its recently come down in price.
