Yeah he should try to look a bit more interested in the second pic lol
No offence but he looks a bit dopey rather than cool.
Maybe try some photoshopped speed blur on his hands on the decks?
I would check the profiles of other DJs on Facebook/theweb and try to come up with something different, if you want to stand out.
Maybe overlay some robot joints faded out, or some neon highlights.
Depends what image you are going for. If you are showing that you are a cool photographer then go for the creative shots, or just hit it hard with the old PS.

The chap's got quite a conk on him, and when you put him in a wide angle, shot down profile it's not the best look. I think you could shoot straight on with a harsh backlight, mind the ears though.
I'd be tempted to reshoot this one with more of a scene, if needs be put him in a club. Whether the club is there at the time of the shot is up to you

I'd like to see him actually at work somewhere, vivid colours, some happy people etc, rather than what appears to be practicing in a spare room and facing a wall. The photos above don't sell me anything.
Those were the two things I was looking for when I read the original post. Completely missing.Edited by Simpo Two on Monday 28th December 10:43

Exactly that, the lighting of a club and the crowd would sell them more. Edited by Simpo Two on Monday 28th December 10:43
