Morning all,
Ive ordered a new remote timer thingymabob from the bay for my sony A200, trying to get some ideas for a small indoor project to test the new stuff out. So does anyone have any ideas for small clean and easy shoot?

Regards
Matt

Can you not just point it out your window? Clouds make great footage.

I appreciate that I'm a bit lucky with the view (cough), but here's one I made earlier:

I stuck mine out the window and just recorded the traffic to test it with but the effects were great.

Good one to try is a sunset over a nice backdrop, but the weather has evaded me so far for this

You're better off not seeing it, it will only make you angry and hate him.

good idea on the traffic would have been perfect at my last house but there are only circa 100 cars a day pass down our road so at the min its just all bare fields as they harvested them all in Otober frown and they havent re planted!sewn anything yet so its just a brown mess. No snow here so nothing to watch melt and the remote timer hasnt arrived as of yet. Will look into the sunset/clouds idea steve just have a prob with the views from both front and back windows eg; front telephone wires straight past the windows and at the back fookoff bloody pylons frown
on a plus note we have just brought the house 2 doors away and are hoping to move in March which has a damn good garden that opens out to a field and will have a garage to put the camera in to protect from rain etc etc.
i do quite fancy doing a long shoot with some seeds i will plant for spring poss runner beans as they grow so quickly and can set everything up in the green house. Anyone done this before if so any tips? And if you have some i could view that would be great.

Tom Lowe does some amazing stuff - might give you a few ideas -

I really like the footage of the astro-dishes tracking the moving stars etc.

Decided to save the file but it WMP still only displays a black screen with the music.

Strange as my PC plays everything else. Anyone got any ideas?

Too late for Christmas but if you have a kitchen/diner, a film of the prep, cooking, eating and clearing up with the family can be amusing.

I just bought the same one as well (for Canon), do you know if you can turn the screen off?! I haven't worked that out yet, otherwise looks like I'll be having fun playing with it in the next couple of days.
