They were lit using multiple exposures then 'shopped together

multiple exposures i understand but what was the rig for the first shot? must be pretty big and then well shopped out?

The rig is a long pole connected to the bonnet. Took a while to 'shop out and was quite difficult to do so...

Brilliant photos George, quick q regarding editing. How do you 'shop multiple images together like that? Annoyingly we were never taught that during A-Level photography...

Add each exposure to a layer and play with layer masks and the rubber smile

Thanks, my photoshopping skills are somewhat lacking...
My best chopping attempt but even there the exposure's all off...
