450d Pricing advice

Been looking to sell my 450d on for a bit as its frankly wasted on me.

Going towards a high end compact instead which will do the job nicely as I dont have the time to dedicate to the hobby.

A friend is interested in the camera but I cant really find a good price guide so looking for help.

Its a Canon 450d with the IS 18-55 lens and the 55 - 250 IS lens with some spare batteries.

Any ideas - its about a yr old and from memory I paid about 165 for the zoom lens.

Currently looking at replacing it with the G11 but welcome other suggestions.

I recently sold a 400d with 18-55 & 55-200 (non IS) Canon lenses together with spare genuine battery, memory cards & Canon bag for £375.00.

I'd have thought £350 to £400'ish would be reasonable. Have you compared the BIN prices on eBay for the same camera - this should give you an idea.

Hmmm G11 is around that price so only changing to gain portability then....puts a different slant on it I guess.

I got the same deal from Curry's but they very quickly went up again to £470ish after wards.
