Knackered Pentax Optio A40

Any help much appreciated.

My digi camera screen has suddenly buggered. When turned on, the screen is all distorted as if the screen has cracked, however there are no actual visible cracks in the glass screen. This is not the first time this has happened as it happened to my last Pentax with exactly the same symptons!

Just wondering whether this is common to this type of camera? Camera was bought about 12 months ago. All apears to be working fine other than the screen.

Got a couple of Pentax optios myself.

Not had any problems at all with mine.

If it's under 12 mths should still be in warranty
