Ive got a Canon 450D with the 18-55mm kit lens and was curious if fish eye adaptors are good for a bit of fun? Nothing serious just playing around with pictures of kayaking and the like. Dont have the money for a proper one at the moment and have seen some around for 30 quid.

What are peoples thoughts on whats good and whats not?

Cheers all!

I've got no experience of these but i look at it like this, if you just want to play about then you probably can't go wrong with one for £30. That way if you get bored of it you've only spent £30 but If you decide you want to get serious afterwards you can purchase a proper lense. I did the same thing with the macro thing, thought it'd be up my street and almost spent a fair amount of cash on a lens, then saw the cheapo screw on ones on ebay. I bought some of these and then found it wasn't realy my 'thing'. I say go for it and see if it ignites the spark.
