C&C welcome.

Also, if anyone can tell me where it is. I can't for the life of me remember where I was. It was taken somewhere along the A832 or A896. Pretty certain it was the A832. North West Highlands, somewhere paperbag

Photos were stitched in Photoshop.

Big fan of these, just don't seem to do them too often. A tip given to me by my father... taken the portrait, then they are alot taller too. I never figured that out!

It is looking north across Gruinard Bay. it was taken on the A 832 road between Laide - First Coast that goes on to Badcaul & Dundonnel

Below is a picture I took from roughly the same place.
Nice Panorama BTW.. I did the same Panorama but forgot to save the stitched image before I turned off the camera..Doh!

Excellent panorama, good work on the stitching. I always fail on these ending up with really obvious joins, so bought a wide angle lens! smile

Taken on a Canon 860is. You can see the stitch marks on this scaled version, but not on the full size, which is 247cm x 30cm.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I wasnt sure weather or not to post it (I think I may be a bit too critical of my own pictures) but I'm glad I did now. smile

I took another series of shots for a panorama while I was in spain on holiday in september which I'm going to process tonight.

That's a good un - Photoshop has it's moments, doesn't it, but it takes some good raw material. And that's definintely some good raw material!

West Coast Scotland as well? think we walked round the bay to the right, vague recollection it was "a famous walk"?

Thanks for the info, I knew it was some bay or cove but couldn't for the life of me remember the name.

I took almost the same picture

I loved that whole area, so many nice places to take pictures.

While I was holiday I was playing with my camera, trying different things and of course, I tried a panorama.

This isn't as good as my first one, but I think its a good view.

This is the hills behind Nerja in the south of Spain.

Again, C*C welcome and wanted smile

http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ is an excellent stitcher. It stitched the below for me which is 7 UWA images and it's fairly flawless. I didn't clone out any joins.
