Hi Folks,

I have to say this forum is great for acquiring knowledge!

I am looking to buy a Panasonic TM700 camcorder; not many reviews about. I was wondering if anyone has this camcorder and what their thoughts are on it?

The only drawback I can see is the lack of optical zoom and the price tag. I can not see any other options which are up to this standard. What do you think?

try a canon 550d stills camera with some kit from red rock to make it more stable for carrying.

The results will be stunning.

You can also take brilliant stills.

You can buy and swap different lenses for it.

I really don't want to be using my DSLR to record vid.

I have been looking about and the TM700 is approx £800. Only 32gb of memory which sucks. I think I will go for it though, will just have to get a 64GB card which is approx £200. Nuts!

Panasonic are probabily going to do a special edition like they did with the TM300 and so release a TM750 with 64GB internal memory. Can't really wait for the next special edition.

I dont think Canon or sony have anything to match Panasonic. I'm prob wrong.
