Hahaha that got ya interested.

Ive heard them been called that and I guess it makes sense.

Ive landed a job shooting 4x4 events over the next few months and need some sort of weather proofing (other than going and buying a 7D) for my 40d.

Has anyone experience of the rain mac style or the rubber shield types.

I have a couple of Storm Jackets

Mine are Large & Medium....the Large is permenantly on the 500 prime and the Medium covers everything else as & when needed. They're quick to put on & remove and easy to clean smile

Cut hole in bin liner. Poke lens through hole. Use gaffer tape to tie it back.

My D300 frequently withstands downpours with no protection and it's no problem at all, just need to make sure everything is dry and aired before putting it back in the bag.
