Scanner advice please

Does anyone have experience of either of these scanners - Plustek OpticFilm 7600i SE or Epson Perfection V600 Scanner - I want to scan 35mm to the best possible quality at a max budget of £250.

well. Epson V600 won the title. I only don't know how - does it work with medium format. I myself missed one used 4490 for around 100 quid ! :O

I'm not interested in Medium Format but yes it does.

Coming to this one after a search, I've got a Canon LiDE 700F, which I've never been happy with, quality of the neg scans mainly. It said 9600 DPI, but that wasnt exactly true, 4800 was more like it and using the Canon driver oversharpened everything no matter what I did with the settings

I've just bought a Plustek 7400 scanner from Amazon, should arrive tomorrow. Dont know if you went any further with your plans but I'll update in a few days
