Hi,

I accidently took a 4 pics over the weekend with my camera on the incorrect setting, and would like to know if it's possible to adjust them back to normal? I've tried messing around in a photo viewer program and although I've improved them slightly, it could just be a simple case of adjusting one effect/filter to get them back to normal but I dont know which one. They're far too bright but it's obviously not as simple as just turning the brightness down.

The pics are of a slightly sensitive nature (two not particularly athletic men in wetsuits..) and I'm not sure if the two men involved would appreciate me posting the pics for all to see - although they'll probably go on Facebook. However I'll post one if needed

Cheers, Greg.

Hello,

As far as I know my camera doesnt have the ability for Raw images. It's an old £100 Sony Cybershot.

Thankfully I took the pics in 1MP mode - you wouldnt want these pics in any high a quality!

If you or anyone else can attempt to 'fix' it then I'd be very grateful. I do have a couple of pics of how they're meant to look if a reference for light etc is needed.

Full size is here: http://i41.tinypic.com/2mpiws3.jpg if the above gets resized.

And there's 4 pics in total, so it'd be good if I could email you them all to be converted, rather than upload them all.

Thanks to anyone who gives it a go...

Cheers, Greg.

Hi Greg

Without trying I doubt I will be able to do anything that you couldn't with that picture as it is in JPEG format.

Someone else may be able to help

Sorry

Hi Scott,

Fair enough.

To be honest I was hoping somebody would see the pic and realise what was specifically wrong with it. I may just have to trial and error it myself, but it hasnt gone ever so well so far.

I appreciate your contribution anyway.

Cheers, Greg.

That's not bad, better than my attempts - Thanks for the effort.

If nobody else can help I may ask you to do the other three if it's not too much trouble?

Cheers.
