Lighting looks great to me but they both seem to be a little bit soft, maybe could do with a sharpen?

probably because of the resizing. I don't believe that they are soft originaly.

Indeed, but if you're going to resize for web use you have to sharpen, otherwise....

Michael, they are a bit soft on your flickr page but 1 sec at f16 should have given plenty of DoF, did you use a remote release? mirror lock-up? or manual release as it looks like it could be movement that caused the softness.

YB

PS I like the lighting on the Focus, the Fiesta looks slightly dark in the front near quarter and under the side sill.
PS your flickr web address on your profile is wrong (flickr is spelt wrongly) it should be:

Yea i noticed that, cheers

The images are both super sharp, as you say they are shot at F16 and around 1 second, both shot on a cambo which is a super sturdy studio support, with a remote and mirror lock up.

FlickR always reduces quality and makes them look soft, i dont wanna sharpen them anymore as i dont like having multiples.

Yea the fiesta image is a bit underexposed.

Thanks for all the comments.
