Panasonic Lumix HD Video prob
Discussion
Hoping some of the knowledge in here will be able to help me out. I have a Lumix TZ7 which I really impressed with and does exactly what I want from a camera however i'm having a few issues with the HD video side of things.
Once i've recorded video I can view on the camera and if I plug the camera into my TV setup I can view the vids on the TV no probs. The issue I have is when I put the memory card into the laptop I just can't seem to find the films and copy them across. The software that comes with the camera seems to be no help either.
Has anyone come across the same issue and if so how can I easily get the vids off the card and across to the laptop (win XP)?
Cheers in advance

you need to go into the file structure, private>stream i think.
then you'll find some .mts files.
good free MTs file converter
jobs a goodun
or
buy a Mac and Imovie will sort it all out for you

Normally I've not bothered with converting the files, as the PS3 plays them straight off a memory stick (possibly even the camera). I'll have to lookup some MTS converter tools though, as my son will no doubt want to show his mum (my ex wife) some of the videos of him at football and on holiday.
Reckon eRightSoft Super will handle them - it seems to handle everything else I've thrown at it.
