Dust in new lense

Hi guys, bare with me as I'm a bit new to all this

Awaiting delivery of my Nikon D5000 so can't compare to the kit lense but received a Tamron 70-300 in the post today. I took the lens cap off and behind the outermost piece of glass there seems to be 3-4 tiny white dust specs presumably on the glass behind the outermost one. Is this in any way normal or should I be sending the lense back first thing tomorrow? the lense was purchased brand new from a shop and arrived sealed.

Send it back, and demand a new one (preferably one without dust).

Thanks, will send the LENS back tomorrow and get them to check the new one before sending it out.
