As the title, I'm doing a couple of track days this year in my road car and I'd like to be able to record them.

I don't want to spend a fortune on a mount but there are a lot out there ranging from £2 to £100+. I'm guessing sucker type, fixed to inside of windscreen will do but any advice is welcomed!

Cheers

We use blu-tack and tape to secure the bullet cam on our FF roll hoop with no issues, despite the draughty position.

Most tracks won't now allow suction mounts. If you have front seats that have an adjustable headrest then you can get a headrest mount. I made one with a length of aluminium box section, some P clips and some bolts, I'll see if it's let on track on monday.

I too made a headrest mount using some aluminium and the camera mount from a £5 ebay mini tri-pod.

Works really well, and has been checked by the marshals with no issues.

Ah - sorry for posting in wrong place - didn't know about this section!

Thanks for the replies above. I think I'll save the beer tokens I'd saved for a sucker mounted bracket and get one to fix to the head rest.

Got the hague suction mount, and the build quality is fantastic!

Try these guys. Had a couple of mounts off them and they are very well constructed.
