Hi,

I've a new camcorder the records in AVCHD format, but it looks like MS Movie Maker doesn't support it and MS movie maker live is very bad at it.

Which editor for the PC do people use that supports AVCHD?

thanks,

J.

Or just be patient.

I left my laptop running when I left this morning, running DVD Flick to burn an iso from a load of AVCHD videos. 1.8gig T5550, it was running at about 9 or 10 fps set to top quality.

  • eta* had the Speccy temp monitor app running - typical operating temp of the laptop doing just browsing is around 55deg. Whilst playing a video its about 65deg. When encoding the video it shot up to 80deg .....

Premier Pro does it but can be a big step if all you want is an AVCHD editor.
