Another stupid idea (this one is barking)

Considering the fun we are having with TransportTed (well some of us, sad I know, but there we go)..

I'm after some help with another 'wee' project. I'm looking for people who live in the North West, Midlands, South West, North East of England or lowland Scotland (Anywhere but London really) to distribute some postcards (I only need a few people to distribute half a dozen cards each to begin with - as a test). I'd like these left in phone boxes, pubs, chip shops, dentist's waiting rooms... anywhere. They will all have a stamp and return address to me and a simple instruction.
I'm interested to see what turns up (mostly childish smut I'm sure.... but you never know - I may well win the Turner Prize
).
I'll take photos and add to the website weekly http://www.stevecarter.com/postme/postme.htm
So if you would like to help, by leaving a few anywhere in your locale... just PM me a snail mail address and I'll send you some. I'm just doing 50 as a test... will do 1000 if I get anything worth sharing.

Well I thought not. I think 'area specific' could be misinterpreted, as I won't post all returns - just what I consider interesting. Therefore I could be accused of being area snobby. If I was a 'head up arse' artist, I'd refer to this as a snapshot of the creativity of the nation - a litmus on the psyche of the UK. Luckily I'm not... it's just that I've a feling some real gems may turn up. Well it's really supposed to be a UK thing. They are just 6 x 4" post cards. I suspect I'll just get lots of drawings of cocks (It being the UK) and, as per Simpo's comment, I also suspect I'll only get 50% back. It's a punt. A shot in the dark - and that's why it's totally anonymous. I don't want to know where from, or who sent, just what is sent. Part of the charm.Can't see me getting them before I leave (Sunday).
