Any MAC users? Need help help with iphoto.

Hi. If I edit a photo is elements 8 and save as a copy, I can't get it back into iphoto library. I save as a copy and rename so that I don't over right the original. If I try to import it, I get a message telling me that it's already in the library, but I can't see it. Have gone onto view hidden photos but still can't see it. Cheers.

In iphoto preferences you need to tell it to open Elements for adjustments. Then clicking on the picture opens Elements, and the save goes back into the same library

Yeah, done that. But I like to keep the original and save it as a copy, but still can't get it to open in iphoto. Try to import it and it just says that it is unreadable and already in the library.
