CF Card question
Discussion
I have always used Sandisk Extreme IV 2Gb CF cards in the past - but I have been shooting photos for a magazine recently and they want RAW, so I decided to get a bigger card and went for a Sandisk Ultra 16Gb.
Now I know it is a slower card and as the 7D will shoot 7fps in burst mode it is a bit taxing but I am getting write errors using it and also read errors trying to copy photos off the card.
Do people think it is a just the r/w speed which is causing the problem or a faulty card?

I can't be specific as I don't have 7D nor a 16Gb Ultra but I have never had a problem with a SanDisk card, CF or SD. Just asking but is it a genuine card from a reputable supplier? There have been stories of counterfeit cards in the past so this possibility is worth eliminating.
that is a fair point - I got it from 7dayshop so I am pretty sure it is genuine.x5x3 said:

Have you tried re-formatting in the camera - maybe more than once - just to eliminate the sort of things that would be in the list of 'initial questions' any suppport team would ask? Can you try the card in another camera? ditto another example of the card in the same camera?
