A lot seem to be around 100mm...but 100-500mm lenses are already available

I use this at work for depth of field on 3D stuff, can give alright results with photographs as well.

Always easier to render out a quick z-depth pass, once SLRs manage that I'm completely sold
I'd even swap to Nikon

That there is what I think would doom this.In the article, they're talking about frame rates of 240-600 fps. Personally, I'd rather accept that I got what I got when I took the shots rather than spend hours wading through just a few seconds of footage to find the best stills.
