Sensor cleaning
Discussion
Hi all, I need to get the sensor cleaned on my 5D as I'm off on holiday soon and really don't want to have to photoshop out all the crap that seems to have gathered on the sensor of late.
I'm based in Berks (Between Reading and Maidenhead) and work in Leatherhead, so if anybody knows of a place that can do it in under 2 weeks I'd be grateful. I've just been into the camera store near the office and the guy in there really wasn't interested in helping me out in under 2 weeks...

No, I'm not sure.
Easy to tell. If you see the dust when you look through the VF but it's not on the photos, then it's on the screen. Ignore and carry on.If you see the dust on the photos but not in the VF, then it's on the sensor (in fact the filter just in front of it).
Dust is rarely a problem for me because I generally use large apertures and the scenes are quite complex. However if you plan to use something like f16 against sky, then it's much more apparent.

Thought I'd update this thread as I now have a nice clean sensor on the 5d
I used this kit here and it's very effective. The loupe allows you to see the sensor really clearly, and teamed with my rocket blower the sensor was clean within couple of minutes.
Well worth the money in my book
