I took this last Thursday evening at Maison Blanche, Le Mans.



I really like the picture, but as I'm a learning amateur I have probably made lots of errors. If you were to work on this image to make it better, where would you start? Be kind.... smile

First, rotate the image to level the horizon.

I like the sky but the foreground (the black bit) is untidy and looks like a supermarket car park.

ETA Having cranked up the brightness on my monitor I can see it's a field. An untidy field! Maybe crop almost all of it out?

Good call on the crop. It's the Maison Blanche campsite at Le Mans classic. Not the most picturesque foreground I agree.

Rotate and crop as a first step, followed by contrast tweaks according to taste.

If you think of it at the time of taking, some bracketed exposures are always a good idea if you want to do some HDR work on it later.

Rushed job, but removed the lamp-posts, played with colours a touch, and little crop.

Nice shot though!
