Online Photo Printing Services
Discussion
I've got about a dozen digital photos I want to get printed out, but can't bring myself do do my usual and buy a new photo ink cartridge for my printer only for it to dry out in 2 months time through lack of use.
I thought about trying one of the online photo printing services where you upload your files and the prints appear in the post a day or two later. Can anyone recommend a good one to use? My main criteria would be print quality and delivery time. Cost is also a factor but not significant - I guess we're only talking pennies difference for a small number of prints anyway.

For prints up to 18x12 I can recommend http://www.samsphotolab.com. You need to download their software to place an order which is simple and easy to use.
Excellent quality and the prices are surprisingly inexpensive if you are prepared to do some of the work by sizing the image correctly and doing your own colour correction for the budget prints. (e.g. £1.49 for an 18x12 print). They also offer a colour corrected service if you aren't sure of your monitor calibration or don't have time to do the work yourself for a little bit extra.
P&P is £4.00 for orders under £20, rising to about £12 for large orders over £80

Photobox, Tesco and Jessops will all give you some freebies to start you off
I got some photos printed from tesco and they looked shocking when printed out. I got a better print out using my £40 all in one printer at home. I think it was compressing the photos before uploading as it uploaded about 100 5mb photos in around 2 mins.
