Has anyone used a Data recovery service?

The wife just deleted all her holiday picks and pics of the kids on her wee digital camera.

Is it possible?

There are several programs around that can recover deleted images. But DO NOT use the card again until you've recovered them. I use Lexar Image Rescue, free with their cards, and Sandisk has an equivalent.

PhotoRec has never failed me.

Totally free and non destructive too.

Good luck!

If she just deleted them and has not started using the card again then the data recovery software should recover pretty much all the images bar a few.

If she reformatted the card and deleted them this way then the recovery software will probably only recover say 60-70% of them if that. To recover all of them after a reformatt you start getting into silly money.
