"sling" style straps?
Discussion
'Fraid I've not used one, but was looking at them recently. Decided I really wanted to replace by Canon strap - its incredibly uncomfortable around my neck.
I spotted a couple of other companies doing something similar:
Sun Sniper
Optech
Eventually went with an Optech strap - so much more comfortable
Cheers.

Just be careful of a) how the camera is attached to the sling and b) the quality of any clips / carabiners used by the manufacturers.
I've heard / read of a few horror stories with sling style straps coming unclipped, perhaps through user-error or getting caught, and the camera ending up on the deck

As a result, while I like the idea, I'm sticking with a decent conventional strap (I use Up-Straps - not pretty, but very, very non-slip).
If somebody wants to buy one - I've just found it much cheaper on ebay.
