Nikon D80 - what class of memory card?

Quickie.

I am looking for a new memory card for my D80.

It seems that there are different 'classes' of card. Class 4, or (more expensively) class 6. Is there any advantage in getting the Class 6?

(Also, is buying non-Nikon batteries a false economy? Where is the cheapest place to get them from?)

I've got a D80 and never has any problems using cheapo Class 2 cards.

I use non-NIkon batteries in my D200 and never had any problems with them.

Forgot to add, I've got one Nikon battery and one 'other' brand, I honestly can't tell the difference.

I had a non genuine Nikon battery and it ended up expanding in the camera and was a complete bd to get out again. I only noticed because I always prefer genuine stuff and this confirmed why lol.

Thanks for your answers. So (with the exception of Allyc), non-Nik batteries are fine, as are cheapo class 2 cards. I know what I'll be buying ...

Don't forget that if you use a card reader a faster card will copy pictures off faster.
