Been to see google about this but frankly im just not finding what Im looking for.

Has anyone a sauce to where I can get some colour 35mm developed, thats not going to cost me 3 arms and 1 leg for 5 films.

Or is it that much of a dying dread that high street chains seem to bleed you dry when it come to the good old negys?

When I where a stuw'd not so long ago and working in 120 film, the studio in town would dev films for me with contact sheets at very reasonable prices. Now looking at upwards of 8 pounds a pop yikes!!!!!!

Have you tried your local outlets, camera shops (Usually one in your local supermarket), Jessops etc, both do films on site, or they used to.

Personal preference is Peak Imaging or DSCL

Local supermarkets are the ones charging 3 arms and 1 leg for the privilege.

Hadnt thought of DSCL actually andy good shout, I use them for my printing and really happy with them that way.

Club35 based in London - tried different ones and found these were the best compromise between price and performance. I regulary shoot colour, get them to process and scan (no prints) and then edit and print myself. Good enough for A3 even with light cropping for my portfolio.

PS Peak Processing are a piss take and their quality control / consistency is pants

This is who I use: http://www.photos2you.co.uk/

They do a good job and are cheap if you only want development.

Both film and digital have their uses! Film has a special feel that can't be replicated in digital and digital has a precision that can't be replicated in film etc etc
