You can use something like http://clipnabber.com/ to get a .flv (flash video) file. I have not tried it but I think VLC works with flash video.

ETA: Just tried it on the "Velvet Houre" video. It actually downloaded as an MP4 file which will play on pretty much any player (e.g. VLC or QuickTime).
