Plus, as a weekend trip 'tourist' you have to work with what you find.

Lovely shots mate, great one of the lapwing! managed to capture some of the metallic like sheen on the wings, which is often lost in photos i have seen of them.

Yep... def working with what I found. The big 'panoramas' were not an option yesterday as it became really hazy... hence pics of dogs and sticks and beaches. Plus, I've done all the big panoramas there are to do on Harris!

Black lab is Charlie's friend Jackson, who we look after from time to time. He's a love.

Lapwing was stupidly tame - it was taken out of my car window!

I like the Ferry shot... I bet Caledonian MacBraine would be interested.

If you are still on Skye... have you checked out the 'wee' road to Elgol? (From Broadford). Worth the time in this weather - seriously pretty.

Also - Lunch in Claire MacDonnalds hotel 'Kinloch' on the Armadale road.

If you've left... ignore all this.

Stayed in Kilbride between broadford and elgol. Yes did that road. Did most on the island. Bit miffed that the elgol coffee shop closed as soon as we parked up outside!! Left the isle yesterday. Well on our way south now. Just off to check out other pic link!
