Aperture 3 or Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 on a macbook pro ??

I looking at getting software to make pics better, will be used on a macbook pro

Aperture 3 v Adobe PSE 8, the Apple Aperture 3 looks like double the money

Anyone used either can comment ?

Adobe lightroom is similar to Aperture, elements is just for editing, it doesn't have the cataloguing or quick reviewing + other features.

You should e able to download demo's, just give it a little while to get used to how it works.

Adobe PSE 9 is now available (or if not will be very shortly) and the mac version now has the Organiser workspace previously only available for PC users.

I use Adobe PSE 7 and am very happy with it

I use PSE 8. Been very happy with it. I always use iphoto for sorting and viewing. Have set iphoto to edit in PSE 8.
