Help with Lense please!

Hi Guys,
Please excuse my ignorance. I have looked back a good few pages on this forum but can not find a corresponding thread.
I want to (finally) swap from wet film to digital. My questions is;
I have two very good Tamron lenses for my current camera ( a 28-105 and a 70-300). Is there a good digital DSLR that these lenses will fit? I don't have much cash to spend and if it were possible, I would like to save some dosh by finding a camera that these lenses will fit.
Can't see a model number (unless...on the side it says 5720 TAMRON on the 70-300) but they are for a Pentax.

That's OK. Not everyone's blessed with perfect spelling all the time.......
If your tamron lenses fit a pentax film camera, they should fit a pentax digital camera! As far as i'm aware pentax didnt change their mount when they started producing digital cameras.

As above I think the pentax stuff still uses the k mount those lenses are.
They have a new body out the K-5 which has a very whizzy sensor worth a look.
But those lenses arnt probably worth a ton and are easily replaced with better, so dont restrict yourself to pentax bodies.
As for which is better, there all great and there isnt that much difference between them, check which you like holding / using more.

I guess (then) it would be false economy to try and salvage bits of my current outfit?

If you were starting from scratch then maybe there'd be a justification for renewing your whole lens stock, but those are two perfectly good lenses so you might as well pick up a Pentax DSLR body (possibly secondhand, they're not too expensive) and get used to digital before you take a dive into anything else.
