I've been working on logo design today.

This is what i've come up with in chronoligical order.

I'd appreciate your comments and if you could single out your favourite/most effective.

First one for me; 5 is good too.

But as they're in chronoligical (sic) order, are they not ligos?



NB: I first encountered the word 'logo' in 1980 when a set of stamps came out. Was it used before that?

The first one is good, but it classical naughties, so may get out of date quickly. Six will prob stand the test of time and is clean and neat.

5 is cheesy - bin that

4 is just plain odd - looks like a headless bloke having a slash while 2 folk watch

6 is the stand out one for me. Classic logo style with the inverse letter T, simple and effective and still shows (I assume) 2 people looking at a display. 3, 4 and 5 are my least fave. 3 is too blocky/harsh, 4 is too fussy and 5 is going to annoy you in 6 months time

I'm gonna have to say, none of them leave an impact on me, which I think is pretty much what they're supposed to do.

Just my 2p, i'm no expert.

Just a thought - do you need the 'The' ?

'Ideal Image' would be snappier maybe and the two Is would lend themselves to a symmetrical logo as well ad having an alliterative appeal

idealimage.co.uk and .com are taken, so I needed to add the "the" so make it different.

Thankfully they're in a totally different line of work, so hopefully they won't have any issues with me using a similar name.

6 was my favourite out of the lot too. I'll maybe continue to play about and refine the image, but i'm sure that'll be the base.

I really like 6. There's something 'facial' about it, looks like an ASCII version of a ghost from a Mario game

Number 6 with the itt made into a logo has the most potential just because it's a bit original. The starwars one with no head has the most potential to be funny but that's probably not what you are after?

The Ideal Image, or the TII concept made me think of a BMW 2002 tii, hence that derived into my design - kind of! lol.

I appreciate the suggestion, but i'm not keen on it.

I don't like the rounded font, and I prefer the slightly more abstract style of no.6. I think thats the one i'm sticking with.

I prefer 6 because it looks (also) like two people (not two people with heads severed)

Fair play mate - its your logo at the end of the day. Was just messing about with some ideas as it seemed a good way to kill some time this afternoon! lol.

Best of luck with it though, would be interested to see how it progresses.
