Sony/Minolta lenses - good offers

In case anyone is interested ..... Ffordes have a couple of good offers on.

Sigma 100-300 F4 EX DG at £499.99 (RRP well over £1000)

and Sigma 50-150 F2.8 EX DG HSM at £399.99 (RRP around £600)

Being EX lenses they are eligble for Sigma 3 year warranty (free).

Good spot!

The Sigma 100-300/4 has cropped up new on ebay for £500 or so recently on a couple of occasions. Then on s/h sites in "like new in box" condition for more shortly thereafter

I'm happy with my Minolta 300/4 which is perfectly splendid, don't need another heavy lens ...

I can't afford one of those so the 100-300mm F4 Sigma is a good option for me.

The 50-150 F2.8 EX is actually designed for APS-C sensor based bodies so it is significantly smaller than say the 70-200 F2.8 EX. It's only a bit bigger, physically, than the "beercan".
